My husband and I are parents to 2 teens and 2 young adults. I grew up always wanting to be a stay at home wife and mom. I grew up part of my years in southern California and graduated high school in Wyoming. I continued my education and graduated from Utah State University with a B.S. in Family and Human Development and an emphasis in Marriage and Family Relations. After graduating, I met my hubby in Logan and we were married. We have lived in Utah every since. My hubby saw great value in me staying home as well and he worked hard to provide for us.
I loved being a stay at home mom but I definitely had struggles as well. I was on and off prescription antidepressants and antianxiety medication over the early years of marriage, pregnancy, nursing, and raising young kids. I struggled with very intense prolonged anxiety after my youngest child was born. In addition to meds, I went to counseling for help. These things were helping but I didn’t feel like I was really figuring things out until I learned about coaching. All the tools taught by a causal life coach have made the biggest impact for me. I feel empowered. I am in control of me and how I feel. I can show up as a better wife, mother, and friend. After learning and implementing things from coaching, I decided I wanted to help others. I got certified with The Life Coach School to coach others with these same tools!
